Selling into the EU and UK

1. B2B only
We supply businesses. Directive 2011/83/EU consumer withdrawal does not apply. Cut-to-print ZnSe is not an off-the-shelf consumer good.
2. Importer of record, Incoterms, VAT
- Default Incoterms®: EXW or FCA Florida, USA.
- Buyer is importer of record in the EU/UK: customs, duty, VAT, brokerage.
- Prices in USD unless quoted otherwise. Put your VAT / EORI on the PO. We do not run an EU VAT warehouse.
3. REACH
We supply articles (ZnSe optics and blanks), not substances for EU registration as a chemical manufacturer. SVHC statements above 0.1% w/w are issued on request against a part number.
4. RoHS
RoHS status letters are issued on request for a specified part. Do not assume a blanket catalogue letter.
5. CE / UKCA / MDR
We do not CE-mark windows or blanks as machinery, PPE or measuring instruments. We do not hold ISO 13485 and we do not place medical devices on the EU market.
6. Hazmat and selenium
ZnSe is a hazardous optical material (selenium compound). SDS travels with the quote. Dry grinding is the buyer’s problem, not ours. Spent windows: return-for-disposal from Florida on request.
7. Export
US EAR and, after import, EU dual-use rules may apply depending on end use. We may ask for an end-user statement. ITAR is not assumed — ask if your program needs it.
8. Country of origin
All CVD ZnSe supplied under this site is manufactured by KM Innovation Corp., Gwangju, Republic of Korea. A signed certificate of origin ships with every export shipment.
