Band — three sources, no invention
Factory English page: near-IR to far-IR. Factory Korean page: visible to far-IR. KM datasheet plot at 6.3 mm thickness: 2–25 µm curve, high transmittance through ~14 µm then falling. This USA desk uses 0.6–16 µm as the uncoated working band (HeNe 0.633 µm + CO2 10.6 µm). Uncoated Fresnel loss ~17% per face (n = 2.403).
